Let me tell you a little about the Locklar family, the Land that which The Embroidery Shop sits on was acquired in the 1930s by my Great Grandpa and Great Grandma. The Land has been in our family for 5 Generations. We have primarily been farmers. We have had cotton, pigs, cows, and chickens on this land.
I got started in the Embroidery business when I was working for a shop in town, we did Embroidery and Letterman Jacket patches. I learned everything I could. I fell in love with the Art of embroidery and Chenille lettering. I had to leave that world for about 7 years. When an opportunity came for me to purchase an embroidery machine and took the chance while working a full time job. I eventually had the chance to leave my workplace to make my dream come true of being my own boss and growing a business.
We are now a family-owned embroidery and apparel decorating business run by my Dad, my Son and I. We Believe that “Your Brand Is Our Business!!!”
